Bespoke Safari Experiences Across Africa

We create safari journeys that are designed around you, not a template.
Every safari depends on timing, location and local knowledge. We know the best countries to visit at different times of year, which game reserves offer the most rewarding wildlife viewing, and where you can enjoy the experience without crowds.

From Kenya’s Maasai Mara to Botswana’s Okavango Delta, we select lodges and camps based on their setting, guiding and access to quieter areas.
This means more space, fewer vehicles, and more meaningful moments in the wild. With private vehicles, expert guides and all logistics taken care of, your safari feels effortless, personal and deeply connected to nature.

Below is a small selection of destinations to spark inspiration.
Every holiday we design is tailored, and our reach goes far beyond what’s shown here.

SAFARI FAQ

Why shouldn’t I just book a safari lodge directly online?

A safari is never just about the lodge. Africa involves a complex web of internal flights, light aircraft connections, border formalities, road transfers, park permits and carefully timed logistics. We seamlessly coordinate every moving part — from VIP airport assistance to private transfers and inter-camp flights - so your journey feels effortless. We also work with exceptional, often under-the-radar lodges that sit far beyond global hotel brands, each chosen for their location, guiding standards and access to quieter wildlife areas. The result? More space, fewer vehicles, and far more meaningful encounters in the wild.

Which African country is best for my first safari?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer, and that’s where expert guidance matters. Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, South Africa and Namibia each offer entirely different landscapes, wildlife density, travel styles and seasons. We match the destination to you: your travel pace, sense of adventure, preferred comfort level and the experience you want to take home; whether that’s dramatic river crossings, remote walking safaris or intimate game viewing with just a handful of other guests.

Will I really see wildlife, or is it down to luck?

While wildlife is never staged, choosing the right region, lodge and time of year makes an extraordinary difference. We work with camps known for outstanding guiding, private concessions and low vehicle density — meaning you’re not jostling with convoys of jeeps at sightings. It’s often the quieter moments - tracking on foot, following a pride over hours, or watching elephants from camp - that become the most powerful memories.

How active is a safari ... do I need to be very fit?

Safaris can be as relaxed or as adventurous as you wish. Game drives are typically gentle, with early mornings balanced by slow afternoons and time to rest. For those who want more immersion, we can include walking safaris, canoeing, horseback experiences or cultural visits - all tailored to your comfort level. Every itinerary is designed around your energy, not the other way around.

Is there a minimum age for going on safari?
faq icons (2)

Yes, but it varies by lodge, country and activity. Many safari camps welcome children from circa 4-8 years old, while others are strictly 12 or 16+, particularly in more remote regions. Age limits are usually driven by safety, flight logistics in light aircraft, and the nature of game activities such as walking safaris.

That said, there are wonderful family-friendly lodges designed specifically for younger travellers, offering flexible game drives, private guides and engaging wildlife education,  without compromising the experience for adults. We carefully select the right camps and routing to ensure everyone, at every age, feels comfortable, safe and fully immersed in the magic of the wild.

Is there anything I should know before going on safari?

A safari does come with a few practical considerations — and we guide you through all of them. Certain destinations require vaccinations or preventative medication, and some regions involve light aircraft flights, which means soft-sided luggage and weight limits are often essential.

Beyond that, it’s about preparation rather than compromise: neutral clothing, layers for early mornings, and an open sense of wonder. We provide clear pre-departure guidance well in advance, handle all logistics on the ground, and ensure there are no surprises - allowing you to focus entirely on the experience, from your first landing to your final sunset in the bush.
