Verbier is highly snow-reliable, with slopes reaching up to 3,330 metres at Mont Fort. The glacier ensures consistent snow conditions from early December to late April, and modern snowmaking covers key pistes lower in the resort. This altitude advantage makes Verbier one of the most dependable choices for a luxury ski holiday in Switzerland.
Yes, Verbier caters to all levels. Beginners will find excellent nursery slopes near the village, while intermediates can enjoy wide, scenic runs across the 4 Vallées. Advanced skiers and freeride enthusiasts are especially drawn to Verbier for its legendary off-piste terrain, including the Bec des Rosses, home to the Xtreme Verbier competition. Hiring a guide opens up some of the best powder skiing in the Alps.

The most convenient route is via Geneva Airport, just over two hours by car or private transfer. Zurich Airport is around three hours away. Many of our clients opt for a private transfer or helicopter flight, which reduces travel time to under 45 minutes and provides spectacular views of the Alps. Verbier is also accessible by train to Le Châble, where a gondola links directly to the village centre.

Verbier is home to the longest sledge run in French-speaking Switzerland, with a vertical descent of 848 metres. The run takes you from the top of Savolyeres all the way down to La Tzoumaz and you can hire sledges from the top of the Savolyeres cable car or any of the sports shops in resort. Note that this is not for the faint hearted and that the track can get pretty icy so would recommend a 12yo minimum age.
The sports centre offers these activities: tennis, squash, climbing, basketball, volleyball, badminton.
There is also the potential to enjoy the panoramas of Verbier’s mountains from a husky sled. Drive your own sledge around the designated trails in resort. They run from early December to the end of April (snow-permitting) and are a must for all dog lovers!
